What those resumes have that the traditional one does not have are visuals. They add pictures such as graphs, statistics and charts that give the visual idea of what you would normally explain in words.
Some say that those visual/video resume are the future and becoming more essential but we have to keep in mind that not every employer will have the same view about them as others so you should always have a traditional resume with you.

The Advantages:
- They are creative
- Easy to make
- Gives a more easier and clear idea of your experience
- Shows that you are not afraid to work with technology
The Disadvantages
- Not every employer would like a visual resume over a traditional one
- Can create confusion if the employer doesn't know how to read it
- Not everything on your resume tailors to every job you are applying to and its more difficult to change/remove stuff from a visual resume than a traditional one.
